A football team that train at Barleylands, Billericay are celebrating this week as their new sponsor delivers their new kit.
Perry Street Under 9’s are said to be “over the moon” this week as the team of youngsters get to play in the their brand new kit sponsored by Barrington Freight.
One of the team coaches, and father of one of the players, Nick Simkins said “I can't thank Matt and the Barrington Freight team enough. As soon as Matt heard that we were setting up a team, he kindly offered to sponsor the kit. The boys are " over the moon" with the kit and celebrated the fact by scoring 3 goals in their first game wearing it!
Barrington Freight MD and Billericay resident, Matt Everard was very pleased to help the team when he heard that they needed a sponsor. “The Perry Street lads had to swap shirts and get changed by the side of the football pitch due to a lack of kit, which isn’t an ideal situation”. “Barrington Freight has sponsored fourteen full football kits that means that all the boys have their own kit and no longer have to brave the elements”. “I hope that the new kit brings them continued success, I will be watching the results with interest” said Everard.
